Seasons Change

Many of us are entering a season of change. Just as the summer has given way to the fall nature transforms the leaves to the beautiful image that shows their color. I love the Fall because the transformation that takes place in the foliage is a wonderful thing to see. We see the vibrant colors, we feel the gentle cool breezes, and we appreciate the times in our lives when we are at full bloom.
W.O.W is starting our Fall Talks with the theme "The Seasons Of Our Lives". Women go through periods of change that sometimes are recognizable and other times they may be stressful. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 says it well: To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. As women we evolve as we grow older. What one may have done in her teens, she doesn't do in her twenty's. What may have caught my eye at twenty has a different view in my thirty's. In our 40's we are more settled and grounded, yet at times we can be unsure of what's ahead. In our Fifties we know what we want and we are more focused than ever. In our 60's we are well seasoned to life where we can share our lives with others.
This season we're talking to women and exploring where they are and what matters to them most. Take this time to see who you are, where you are and where you are headed. Lift your hands and enjoy the shedding of the old as the new takes root in you. Know that God has so much more for you as he prepares to take you into a better place in him and a better relationship with others. "Enjoy this Fall"
